Classic Golf Clubs
Our line of classic golf clubs feature a hand wrapped and whipped leather grip, genuine hickory shaft, and a carbon steel clubhead with your choice of precision engraving.
Equivalent to today’s modern pitching wedge, the Niblick was used during the mid-nineteenth century to play high lofted shots and to extricate the ball from sand traps, ruts and other undesirable lies. The Niblick may have been golf’s first “utility” club.
The Blade putter features the traditional “long-nose” design of the period, and was the choice for most players in the early 19th century. Due to its light weight, players were able to better employ the “wristy” stroke technique that was common in the day.
In it’s prime, the Mashie was the workhorse club for many of the early day golfers. It’s midrange loft made for a versatile, forgiving club that could be used in a variety of situations. For reference, the Mashie is commonly compared to a modern day 6 or 7 iron.
