Equivalent to today’s modern pitching wedge, the Niblick was used during the mid-nineteenth century to play high lofted shots and to extricate the ball from sand traps, ruts and other undesirable lies. The Niblick may have been golf’s first “utility” club.
Hickory Golf Classics’ Niblick Golf Club features a genuine hickory shaft, hand wrapped leather grip, carbon steel head, and a loft of 49 degrees. 36” long.
