Of all the classic golf clubs, the mashie is perhaps the best recognized, at least by name. It is most equivalent to today’s seven iron and was used most predominately as an approach club. The hickory shafted mashie, first introduced in the 1880’s, is no longer in use.
Hickory Golf Classics’ Mashie Golf Club features a hickory shaft, hand-wrapped leather grip, carbon steel head and a loft of 35 degrees. 37.5 inches long.
